Recently I suddenly (I thought so) faced with a problem of booting my PC. Windows 10 (LTSB 1607) can't start and shows Recovery blue screen with an error "Your PC needs to be repaired. File: 0xc0000185\EFI\MICROSOFT\BOOT\BCD. Error code: 0xc0000185".
None of the tips from the Internet (e.g. http://www.pcerror-fix.com/solved-windows-10-boot-configuration-data-error-code-0xc0000185) didn't help me (there was no recovery point; bootrec doesn't identified Windows Installation).
To copy my personal data I connected a disk (Samsung EVO 860) to another PC and decoded it (because I used BitLocker). After the disk is back in place my Windows 10 started without any troubles. I don't know what it was - fortuity or a bug, but it helps me.
I have no idea what exactly it was. At the moment my PC working fine, but the disk is not encrypted by BitLocker.

But what was the core of the issue?
Reviewing Event Log I found that seconds before the windows crash FilterManager register warning #4File System Filter 'wcifs' (Version 10.0, 2018-03-02T11:23:20.000000000Z) failed to attach to volume '\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy3'. The filter returned a non-standard final status of 0xC000000D. This filter and/or its supporting applications should handle this condition. If this condition persists, contact the vendor. Also a day before I installed Windows Store and and Neat Office (because it was free).
