Many times users asked me about a feature of saving Zoom in the email preview in Outlook. Instead of paid plugins and macros, I wanted a built-in option.
As it turned out that this wanted a hundred of people from the Globe.
30.11.2018 appeared information that the feature "Zoom and stick" was finally added to Outlook 2016.
But for 2,5 years (2018 - 2021) the feature doesn't yet appeared in my Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2016.
And now I want to figure it out.
History based on "Release information for updates to Microsoft 365 Apps":
27.11.2018 the feature was added to Microsoft Office 365 Current Channel (and most likely in Click-to-Run perpetual edition) in version 1811 (build 11029.20079).
12.03.2019 the feature was added to Microsoft Office 365 Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel (Preview) in version 1902 (build 11328.20158).
09.07.2019 the feature was added to Microsoft Office 365 Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel in version 1902 (build 11328.20368). This version usually use by Microsoft 365 subscription owners.
We in company use MSI version of Microsoft Office 2016 (volume licensed version). And actual version of Outlook (KB4493166 = 16.0.5110.1000) has no "Zoom and stick" feature.
Even actual version (1808, build 10370.20052) of Office 2019 has no yet the feature. Hope it is close (according to build number).
I will keep in view of the situation.
P.S. Just for for information and clarity, I prepared a graph of build number lag between Office 2019 (C2R), Microsoft 365 Current and Semi-Annual Enterprise Channels.
